Our guest this week is Karen Rasmussen, the CEO of PrePass Safety Alliance, a non-profit, public-private-partnership dedicated to bringing technology to the trucking industry in an effort to increase efficiency, compliance, and safety.
With a career in transportation safety spanning more than 40 years, Karen has been a key player in all aspects of commercial vehicle operations, and has been part of that community here in Arizona since 2001 when she served as the President and CEO of the Arizona Trucking Association. She became CEO of PrePass Safety Alliance in 2012 and has been there ever since.
Prior to moving to Arizona, Karen worked for the California Trucking Association, Ryder System, inc., the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the Oklahoma Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, and the Montana State Legislature.
